These terms outline the general conditions of service provided by Somer Removals.
All quotes are based on the information provided at the time. Additional charges may apply if the details of the move change, including access, additional items, parking restrictions, waiting time, or delays outside our control.
Customers are responsible for ensuring access, parking arrangements and accurate information about the move. All items should be prepared and ready for transport unless packing services have been agreed.
We are fully insured. However, liability for loss or damage may be limited. Additional cover may be available where agreed in advance.
We cannot transport hazardous, illegal, restricted, perishable or unsafe items. This includes items such as gas bottles, paints, explosives, illegal goods, animals and items requiring special licences.
Payment is due on the day of the move unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by cash or BACS.
If a booking is postponed, cancelled or significantly changed at short notice, reasonable charges may apply where time, travel or resources have already been committed.
Customers should inform us in advance of any access issues including stairs, narrow roads, restricted parking, long carrying distances, lifts, permits or parking suspensions.
